    Hard drive Upgrade Questions

    Good Day All,

I'm new to this site, and new to the PS4. I just ordered a new 2TB drive to upgrade my system, and had a couple questions. I have read about, and downloaded the firmware update for the new drive(812mb), and I am going to save the game data to my usb drive. My questions, once I have replaced the drive and loaded the new firmware, and re-created the users, will the system recognize the saved data for each user? I don't have network access, so I can't pull user info from the net, will that make a difference?

    Thanks...Jeff

I have not replaced/upgraded the drive in my PS4 myself, but I've only had mine for seven months. Here's what the Sony site has to say about it. Hope it helps.

It doesn't totally clear up your save data question, but my guess would be that it should work out just fine. And for what it's worth, I've seen people on other sites talking about drive replacement, and it sounds like it's pretty painless...
