    Dual Shock 4 (closer Look)

Here's your first look at Sony's new controller for the PlayStation 4. It's got a touchpad, motion control and a "light bar" for identification.

There's also a "share" button, and the light bar, as well as being used to identify players with colour coding, is also the means via which a new PlayStation camera can track the pad for advanced motion controls.

The design is similar to prototype images seen previously, only with—as you'd expect—a little more polish. It's also great to see Sony deviate from the standard DualShock pad, smoothing things out and making the whole thing look a little fresher.

Those triggers look a lot better for shooting and racing games. I used to get all my racing games for the Xbox instead of the PS2, so I'm glad they've changed them slightly.

Maybe GS will have a demo station or something.

Most likely digital triggers. Analog vs digital doesn't really bother me but it does to some people.
    Push to test.
    Release to detonate.

I hope that we can get a demo station in my local game store. I'd love to try out the controller and some of those games, especially Drive Club. If the controller feels as good as it looks then I'll probably get all my racing games for the PS4, instead of splitting it between PS4 and the Wii U.

Doesn't bother me a whole lot. I'm either pressing down on the trigger fully or I'm letting go of it, I never keep it halfway.

They've really improved the D-Pad as well, and the grips on the handles should make it nicer to hold. The control sticks look better, and I like the fact that they've made the buttons bigger.

Very nice! I like the share button. It's nice to have huge ram on PS4 to be able to play & share video simultaneously. It's a cool feature.

I hope they gonna make another Grand Turismo game.

It will be fun to share stuff through the interweb. We may become famous!....probably not though.
