I was using a Phillips O'Neil streak headset Before they broke 3 months ago and the sound quality was pretty good, the con was that the headset bass was a bit weak. So explosions for a fps didn't have that pop and would sound a bit muffled and lost in the background. I don't know how the O'Neil headset compares to the beats headset but they were lightweight compared to alot of the high end gaming headsets. Especially lighter than the gaming headset I have now (afterglow prismatic wireless).

I'd actuallt have to say my Beats headset almost if not sounds better than my old Pulse Plus. Just like the freedom of no wires.

i agree, i love the freedom wireless headsets provide in comparison of the wired headset. I feel like your not experiencing the true gaming experience until you go wireless.

i full on agree with the playstation gold headset and beats, the beats sounds better, but the wireless is so nice, also the beats drains my controller battery by ALOT.

I've noticed this too. I've even tried different headset combinations to see if battery drain is consistent but the beats must need some additional juice cause my controller doesn't last as long.

my beats have noise cancelling and i full on believe that that kills batteries even my phone battery dies faster with my beats vs my bose headphones.
