    Playstation Wireless headsets

ok this is where ill place my review of the new Playstation Gold Wireless Headset and compare it to the original Playstation Stereo Headset(PSH for short) which had its name changed to Pulse later on...I currently Own the PSH and honestly they are good headphones, my reason for upgrading is im starting to get random disconects from both the ps3 and ps4. The PSH are decent headphones have good sound its "Virtual Surround" is ok but chews the battery down like you wouldnt believe 5 hours on average with it on. My biggest complaint is how cheap everything feels on them, the mic is only one drop or bump away from breaking off. The ear cups are held in with two small pieces of plastic that could break off easily if not carefull. The sound quality is good not great but good, and the mic quality is actually really good.

the PGWH i should have early next week waiting to get them from Gamestop who shipped them today. Ill update this after i had a decent amount of time to use them.

First impressions light, at first glance they feel cheap but when using i realized that it feels this way due to the removable plastic covers they have to make it so you can make them your own. sound quality is actually surprisingly good, way better then the original stereo headphones. as for the Virtual Surround Sound so far its working good better then the OG headset by alot. im waiting on the companion app to see what that will add as far as features.

My kids got me the playstation pulse for Christmas. I used them corded up till the latest firmware patch that added true wireless support for them. I have to say I love mine. I find myself constantly stretching them because they are tight but the sound and bass from them is amazing.
How to ensure you get to play our PS4 when you get home from work (Take the Controllers to work with you).. evil genius.

I'm hearing mixed reviews about the playstation headset. Some reviewer rated the headset as a good quality headset for its price point. I personally would was interested in the elite and also the headset wireless headset that was out during the ps3. What do you believe would be abetter sound quality and is also made with quality compared to the ps headset at the price point of 100.

well i have had all 3 my favorite sounding one is the OG Stereo headset, its also the one that has major issues with disconnecting on me. on both ps3 and ps4 it wont stay connected constantly disconnects. the pulse which i think sound good broke on me and many many other people they arent made very good imo. i now have the Gold ones and while the sound initially isnt great, after i played with the app on my ps4 for it and customized the sound manually i got it to a point where i actually like them alot.. if you want a great headset get the Triton A50 they are 300$ if you dont want to spend that i highly recommend the Gold wireless headset they are the best balance of sound price and build quality.

i had the px22's and i dont think they are any better then the wireless headphones, and the point here is to be wireless and not suck down what little battery our controllers have, otherwise i would have continued to use my beats studios. Also px22s have no surround sound capabilities at all the wireless ones do, i can tell if your behind me, right, left or any combo there of with the wireless headphones on.
