I bought a vita just to hold me over until i get my ps4 but so far I like it. There arent many titles yet but theres like 100 some odd new games coming out for it within the next year and having PS+ you get some free games. And the remote play should be cool.

Not sure the Vita will stay alive after next yr....It's just my opinion though haha. I have an idea that Sony may replace it with something more current or Tablet like. Cool idea right? Maybe not but it's still something to think about.

That could very well be since they are already integrating tablets with the ps4. Theres a downloadable app to use it just like the vita

I doubt that Sony would abandon the vita handheld, especially when they have recently released the vita tv in japan. I believe Sony will find a way to give the handheld a second life. I wouldn't be surprise if the decide to update the gaming library.

After doing some thinking & talking to a few people the Vita just may still have some life left in it plus Sony might be able to pull it off with the PS4 doing so well.

I think there will be a resurgence of the vita. the vita was ahead of it times and just need a strong line of games to help its sells. Maybe Sony should also think of taping into the indie game market and charge a reasonable price for the game. In additional to the aaa,as games that would be featured on the handheld. But most importantly provide a library of games.
