As a stand alone device it might not be worth it (even thought I personally bought more games for my Vita than I did for my WiiU) but as a PS4 companion its worth it, you don't even need to buy games for it as every month ps+ gives you a couple of free games to play. So after a year that $200 gets you a portable system and 20+ games, not bad

Im actually very excited for remote play and hope my expectations are met, however that being said I will be waiting for some good bundle deals, and of course the new ps vita that has been released.

Alot of people are bashing the new lcd screen on the new vita vs the sweet OLED the original has, but the changes allow for a couple more hours of gameplay, and the screen honestly does not look bad, if not it is slightly brighter than the old one.

The biggest problems I see going fwd is the idea itself with the Vita. How long has been out & there have been tons of su****ions flying around that it will get replaced very soon. Personally I love the idea of remote play but using an idea that has failed twice now(PSP & Vita) just doesn't make much sense to me.

I'm really excited to see what happens from here as I've said the Vita is cool but now quit old. There is a ton more I can say but don't want to speculate anymore than I already am to an extent.

I would love a Vita, but I really never played my PSP. If Sony were to bring the Vita TV to the US though, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat probably

I think you need to look up the meaning of the words failed and old, the PSP has sold over 75 million units hardly a failure. And under 2 years is not old (unless you are talking about iproducts lol) And as far as the Vita being replaced....Not gonna happen, Sony would scrap the whole portable division rather than replace the Vita this early in its cycle. They may make some different versions of the Vita like a slim or LTE but they won't replace the Vita itself.

Nope. Almost no games. Even if you use it in combination with the ps4 I think it is not worth the money.

you can say no games you like, that's a matter of opinion. But you can't say no games in general.

I say buy one. Good support from indie games, pretty decent selection of AAA games, Hopefully the PS4 will bring life to it through stuff like Remote play with the PS4, which looks great.
