"So a lot of Sony fans have constantly thought that the launch of the PS4 alone can save the Vita. A lot of them thought that the gimmick remote play functionality can pull the Vita out of the dead.
Well, according to VGchartz, during the week when the PS4 launched in the US, the Vita only sold 14,000 units in the US, which is overly pathetic by any level. Sony's last "attempt" to save the Vita FAILED. Why, you might ask? Because making an expensive handheld into an overpriced accessory never helps. Sony fans have constantly hid in denial in the past few months. "The PS4 will help! The PS4 will help! It will! It will!!!" Well, look at the outcome of that genius marketing strategy, eh?
Meanwhile in Japan, the release of God Eater 2 caused the Vita to boost to 90,000 units. So Japan PROOVES that the big issue with Vita sales is the lack of good exclusives. But Sony is just so stubborn, they refuse to acknowledge the real issue. The Vita's fate will be caused by Sony's ignorance. Embarassing for Sony and their fans."
So hey, this is posted directly from IGN, but sadly, it was taken down just moments ago. I was quite curious as to what would happen to the PS4 and Vita combination, so here is your cup o' coffee (or not).
