People will still get the Vita..trust me.
I agree, depending from which viewpoint your looking at this from I would consider the vita to be both. Sony's expectation to upstage Nintendo's stronghold over the handheld market turned out to very disappointing, the fact that the vita has poor sells similar to how gamers treatment towards the wiiu. Games on the vita is another issue, the quantity and quality time wasn't great and the price tag was pretty expensive which is just my opinion didn't justify spending console money for a handheld. Plus Sony also abandoned the vita for many year until the ps4's release.
but here's how I think its also an successful unit as well. The release of the ps4 Provided the vita a second wind. A chance to reinvent the handheld. The vita tv and remote access is just a few ways. Also, the vita have been sell as of lately due to the new titles and bundle deals with the ps4.

the problem with the vita is we are in the West in Japan its not doing nearly as bad, and it also has way better games over there that arent being brought west, Something of note and ill find the article for my next statement but the average Vita owner has bought 11 games for the vita, mostly digital. thats actually a pretty big number for a handheld system. Those numbers didnt include the free games each month either. i myself have bought close to 10 games for my vita and with the exception of 1 of them they have all been good-great
I'm planning on getting one. I think this is the best time to buy-in to getting one personally. The library is finally expanding there is free games and great discounts on titles already released.
I'm getting 1 too!

I beg to differ on the amount of games available for the vita. I was thinking that very same thing about the PS vita until I was researching the handheld and discovered that the handheld has over 153 games and that's dating February 2013, some people may have wrote off the PS vita but I definitely think its worth it at this point. But I personally feel that it's just a matter of what your looking for. If the remote play and free games doesn't seem to equal its weight in gold. Now remember, the vita also can be nodded to play other systems games from previous generations too.
I currently don't have an interest in the Vita. I've currently got games on my wishlist for my PC, Wii U, 3DS and Steam.

If I act like a BOSS, then I'm anonymous.
If I act like I'm your enemy, then I'm in a foul mood.
The vita is nothing more than a second screen. If your laptop, tablet and smartphone allows you to. You can use that feature on your handheld device. That's if your still on the fence about getting a vita or just looking to buy yourself alittle bit time before taking advantage of any black Friday sales or holiday sales.
