Nintendo needs to start selling some REAL games man. Only game that looks interesting to me on the Wii is Zelda.

They already have real games. They have a lot of real games, don't like Super Mario? Don't play.

This comment looks very last century. Might I remind you that the Wii U is starting to rise?

Which is why I don't own one. They need to get into every genre of games without watering down the ones they do offer.

I actually think that was an attempt to mock me

Nintendo's consoles are just vehicles for their games. People only buy Nintendo systems to play Nintendo games. They should only keep the DS and make their console games compatible with Xbox and PlayStation.

No, not really. They haven't even given up yet.

I hope Nintendo make another console. I personally love Nintendo growing up and still do. I think Nintendo lives and dies on being different. Which is not a bad thing but it sometimes hinder them from giving gamers everything we want. I'm fully confident that the next Nintendo console will bring gamers back to falling in love with their childhood and create another system that can possibly rival the Microsoft and Sony. It wasn't too long ago the Nintendo Wii and Ds heldheld were dominating the market. You just never really know with the each gaming console generation who will be the top dawg.

nintendo is fine they make money on each WiiU sold each DS sold, and then the games, Nintendo will be fine the reason they dont go for cutting edge tech(and never have with 1 exception SNES) is it allows them to make their systems cheaper and make money of actual systems. Then they make money off the games too. The problem they ran into this gen is that stupid wiiU tablet controller, it turned off alot of gamers thinking they were going full on casual again, in reality its actually great, i finally got my WiiU a few months ago and i love it, i use it for all my streaming now, its great to have the gamepad to watch shows on while im cooking and whatnot, also love playing MK8 or Windwaker while my wife is watching tv on the gamepad. when i play games on the tv ill normally use the pro controller as i like it more cause its lighter. If nintendo didnt do the gamepad they would have been slightly more popular, but the WiiU name also held it back its a dumb name, they should have just named the system WiiHD or Wii2 Wii2 would have worked the best i believe but if htey wanted to shake off the casual gamer perception they should have came out with a whole new name.

I'll be getting a Wii U this holiday season. My 6-year old (will be 7 in October) wants one, and I've always been a big fan of Nintendo systems. We've had a blast with the 3DS this year, and now it's time to play some of those genres on the Wii U. The Wii U hasn't sold as many units as Nintendo hoped for, but let's be honest, the Nintendo series are just awesome. I can't wait to play Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, 3D World, Mario Kart 8, etc. And with games like Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Splatoon (looks really fun) on the way, the Wii U will end up having a pretty good life cycle. It's starting to pick up some steam with MK's release, and Smash Bros. and Zelda Wii U will move some consoles as well.

I contemplated really hard on whether or not to get the Wii U or PS4. I chose the PS4, and since my son wants a Wii U for Christmas, I'm glad I did. That being said, I bet I would've played more hours on the Wii U than I have my PS4 so far. That will change in the near future, but the Wii U will get lots of attention in my house.

if you played the last DKC on the Wii youve played Tropical freeze it feels exactly the same. i was highly disappointed in it. Pikmin 3 was good but wasnt the best, so far MK8, SMW3d have been my favs, oh and windwaker.
