I would have to agree that PC gaming is expensive and complicated. First you gotta buy a computer and most computers out of the box arnt gaming quality. With that being said you gotta buy rams and maybe even a new processor (you also gotta know if your computer can take that processor.) Also all the terms and statistics take some time to learn.

Building your own computer can actually minimize costs quite a bit and leave you with a rig that can run games for a few years. The difference with pc and consoles is the price in games and the initial cost for your rig. Sure, it costs more to get your pc, while the console is less, but the games are cheaper. Depending on the quantity of games you purchase for pc that would otherwise cost a bundle of money for console, you can easily make up that cost.

I am an avid PC gamer. Steam is my second home. But when building/buying a new system gaming is not all you're getting into. Depending on your preferences you could also be video or music editing. Maybe some Photoshop. Writing or school work. Or even just faffing about online. You have all that to consider too. Not only gaming.

Yeah i wish i wouldve known that before i had bought my laptop. I hadnt even considered a build it your self rig. At the same time i need a laptop for school so there isnt really much i could have done there. With that being said id have to get a new processor for games to run smoothly and also emulators.
