    PSN down again

    Psn's(Sony) recent attack by 'lizard squad' on their severs effected allot of people on Christmas day and boxing day!
    Its not the first time this has happened and I'm sure probably not the last? I have emailed sony(psn) asking the the question 'are you going to refund the days lost on my account due to the hacking for which I have paid for in advance that I am unable to access' and didn't get a response.
    Yes any service can or could be hacked or attacked but a large Corporation like Sony should have safeguards against such attacks like this?at the end of the day its us the users and paid subscribers that lose out. Friend or like PSN REFUND(facebook) they may not listen to me but enough of us they have to.

    Funny that you mentined that cause I also was think the same thing about refunding or extending the psn plus service due to the hacking by lizard squad. Hopefully Sony will do right by the consumers

    Don't be too sure. Their history lately has been quite... quizzical with consumers, so they might instead threaten to ban the user.

    I wish they would. Sony doesn't need the bad press at this moment.

    No that's not what I'm saying. I'm daring Sony to be that arrogant to believe that they don't owe their customers anything. My biggest complaint about Sony is that they're bad at following up on issues, especially when it comes down to the PS network. Why do you truly think Sony issues out free games month to month. They know the service alone doesn't validate the price.

    They're extending psn accounts by 5 days to anybody that had an active account during the outage. They're also issuing a 10% off coupon for a future ps store purchase. My account expired while I was on vacation last month. Too bad considering I got a Vita and bought a ps3 for my daughter as Christmas presents. I ended up going to a local Gamestop to buy a Vita game (Persona 4 Golden). The place was packed.

    Thanks for the info. I'm glad Sony was able to at least do something in favor for their customers losing valuable gaming time, lol.
